Charity
King Sturge aims to actively work with charities on an international, national and local level through financial donations as well as time and resource. Initiatives are run at firm, office and individual level. King Sturge colleagues are supported in their charity work and given the time to participate.
Two main charities are chosen by employees each year to receive a dedicated proportion of the King Sturge charity budget. This year they are Cancer Research and The Children’s Trust. In addition King Sturge has supported over 50 other charities in the past year.
King Sturge have a charitable account through the Charity Aid Foundation (www.caf.org.uk). CAF is an international non-governmental organisation which provides specialist financial services to other charities and their supporters.
With more than 75 years of experience and a global network spanning five continents, CAF is committed to increasing the resources of charities worldwide and helping individual and corporate donors add value to their generosity.
Additionally, King Sturge employees are actively encouraged to take on the individual initiatives themselves, through the Give As You Earn programme and to raise funds for their local and personal causes.
King Sturge enthusiastically encourages individual employee participation in events such as the London Marathon, Triathlon, Great North Run, Comic Relief, our very own 'King Cricket Tournament' and many other fundraising events. All entry proceeds from the King Sturge Property Triathlon go directly to the two nominated King Sturge charities.
