Thermoseal has purchased a new 1,719 m² warehouse at Martland Park, Wigan
Developer, CDP Ltd is celebrating landing the biggest deal at Martland Park, Wigan in recent times following the sale of unit 2 at Casino Park. Double glazing sealant manufacturer and supplier, Thermoseal has purchased a new 1,719 m² (18,500 ft²) warehouse for an undisclosed sum.
The company joins high profile occupiers Heinz and JJB Sports who are already located on Martland Park, Wigan’s premier warehousing and industrial location. At 6,374 m² (68,614 ft²), Casino Park has proved a huge success having already sold or let four of its eight buildings. With over 60% of the available floorspace now taken, just four buildings, ranging from 555 - 654 m² (5,974 ft² - 7,035 ft²), are available to lease or purchase.
“Speculative development of good quality accommodation continues to perform well in Wigan and this has been clearly demonstrated at Casino Park”, said Mark Sillitoe, senior surveyor at King Sturge and joint agent on the scheme with WHR. “A strong local market coupled with the town’s excellent links to the regional and national motorway network has meant that demand at Casino Park, on both a freehold or leasehold basis, has been strong.”
