Redevelopment to provide 37,000 sq m of additional retail floorspace
King Sturge obtained planning permission on behalf of Capital Catalyst LLP for the redevelopment of previously developed land to the south of County Square Shopping Centre, Ashford, to provide 37,000 sq m (gea) of additional retail floorspace with off-site surface level parking for 500 vehicles.
King Sturge, as lead consultant, were responsible for the coordination, preparation and submission of a planning application accompanied by an Environmental Assessment. Pursuant to the grant of planning permission, King Sturge were retained to secure the discharge of ‘conditions precedent’ so as to enable construction to commence on site at the earliest available opportunity.
