Distribution depot in Yeovil sold

Scottish and Southern Power secured Edwards Close site
The King Sturge office in Bath, acting on behalf of Arndale Properties Ltd and instructed through SJS Property Management, has completed the sale of a freehold site and warehouse in Yeovil, Somerset.
The former White Arrow Express distribution depot has been sold freehold to Scottish and Southern Energy plc. The building, situated on Edward’s Close, part of the Houndstone Business Park, provides a warehouse and offices of approximately 1,528 m² (17,023 ft²) on a site of approximately 0.5 hectares (1.298 acres).
Huw Thomas, Partner in the Bath office, who acted on the disposal comments, “With the low site coverage of the building, we had interest and offers from both occupiers and developers. Scottish and Southern had just lost out on another property in Yeovil and were very keen to secure this site quickly and pay the full asking price.”
