26 February 2008
4,004 ft² Unit 4 has been secured on a ten-year lease
Another new tenant has been secured at London Road Trade Park, on behalf of the Karis Property Company. This latest transaction means that two units are now let on the estate, with terms issued on two of the remaining units.
Wurth UK Ltd has just signed-up for Unit 4, which extends to 4,004 ft² on a ten-year lease at an annual rental of £28,000. The unit enjoys generous car parking and will be used by Wurth as an additional automotive trade counter outlet. The company has its UK head office in Kent and already has Scottish outlets at Paisley and Wishaw.
Commenting on the deal, Cass Hibbert of King Sturge said: “Wurth was attracted to the estate due to the quality of the product, coupled with the motorway prominence and access.
“The popularity of London Road Trade Park is rapidly being realised for trade counter operations in east end of Glasgow due to the unit size, along with the excellent location. It also benefits from the Commonwealth Games effect and associated regeneration projects - we are experiencing healthy demand for the remaining units.”
London Road Trade Park was developed by Karis in 2007 and is situated approximately four miles east of Glasgow city centre adjacent to Cambuslang Investment Park. Other occupiers include Jewson, HSS, Wickes and City Plumbers.
London Road Trade Park is marketed by joint agents King Sturge and Colliers CRE Wurth UK Ltd was self-represented.
