King Sturge has been instructed to market two refurbished office suites at 93 Candleriggs in Glasgow’s Merchant City on behalf of a consortium of traders, known as Riggs (88-99) Ltd.
The open plan offices are located on the second and third floors of the building and each extends to 2,595 ft². The building itself is a Category B listed five-storey red sandstone building with direct access from Candleriggs. The ground floor entrance leads to a passenger lift which provides access to all levels.
The refurbishment will create a loft style ambiance with internal sandstone features to the walls, a timber floor and plastered and painted ceilings” says David Cobban of King Sturge. “We are offering flexible lease terms on the offices which may be particularly attractive to professional services, marketing and design companies.”
The property is located within the fashionable Merchant City area of Glasgow which lies to the south east of George Square and is regarded as the cultural heart of the city characterised by lively bars, luxury apartments, tenement flats, award winning restaurants, designer shops and artist galleries. Candleriggs is one of the main streets within the Merchant City linking Ingram Street to the north with Trongate to the south.
