Miller Construction has signed-up for the first floor office suite within the modern two-storey pavilion
King Sturge has just concluded a sub-let deal on behalf of Legal & General (L&G) at Unit 8000, Academy Park Pavilion, Gower Street in Glasgow’s south side.
Miller Construction has signed-up for the first floor office suite within the modern two-storey office pavilion that extends to 3,223 ft² on a five-year sub-lease at a market rate rental. The ground floor of the pavilion has been retained by L&G for call centre use. The pavilion also benefits from mature landscaped surroundings, a secure environment and 12 private car parking spaces.
Commenting on the move, Iain Fletcher, Regional Surveyor of Miller Construction said: “Our company is growing steadily and in line with our strategic projection and we have been looking to secure an office to service our operations in the West of Scotland for some time now. The new office at Academy Park suits our needs perfectly, offering quality accommodation within an easily accessible location”.
David Cobban of King Sturge added: “Miller Construction is delighted with the new base at Academy Park which offers quality flexible accommodation within an excellent location. The deal itself was concluded within one month which was particularly pleasing for our client.”
Academy Business Park occupies a high profile location adjacent to the M8 and M77 motorways, approximately 10 minutes drive from Glasgow City Centre. Other occupiers include Barclays, McCarthy & Stone, Renewable Energy Systems and The Extra. In addition, public transport facilities are readily accessible including bus services on the adjacent Maxwell Drive and St. Andrews Drive and the nearest railway station is Dumbreck which is within 5 minutes walk.
King Sturge advised L&G, whilst Miller Construction was self-represented.
