King Sturge is opening its second sales office in Manchester City Centre

Despite the apparent slowdown in the housing market, one estate agency is forging ahead with its expansion plans. City Centre firm, King Sturge is opening its second sales office in Manchester City Centre, located in the trendy and vibrant Northern Quarter of the City.

The office, based in Basil Chambers, 67A High Street , will be home to a new lettings and sales team to cater for the growing market within the City Centre. “Around 500 apartments are being let every month in Manchester and this is a key area we want to be a leading player in”, says Stephen Hogg, residential partner at King Sturge.

The new lettings team is a first for the agency, which has been trading from its office on Deansgate for the last five years. “It’s certainly true to say that the market has become more testing recently. Many of our competitors have made redundancies or are closing outlets, but we have a huge amount of experience of the core City Centre marketplace and believe there are still opportunities to be had”, continues Stephen.

“We are agent for many of the City’s new home developments and are keen to build our market share even further. In order to do this we have hand picked the best people for the team so that we can provide clients with an unrivalled service.”

The High Street office takes King Sturge’s commitment to both Manchester and the property market in general to an even higher level. Having moved Commercial premises to One Piccadilly Gardens in January 2006, and recently celebrating their 40th anniversary in Manchester, and now 2 residential offices, the future looks bright for King Sturge.
