King Sturge triumphs for fourth year at the National Surveyors Sevens

King Sturge beat Reading Real Estate Foundation 26 -12 to make it four titles in a row at the National Surveyors Sevens tournament.
An exuberant King Sturge contingent took over the Grand Stand at the at the Richmond Athletic Ground in Surrey as their team romped to victory in glorious sunshine in the second half after a tight first-half against a spirited Reading.
Captain Graham Barr from King Sturge retail department said there was no sign of the agent’s winning streak ending in the near future.
“It’s been a lucky coincidence that we have employed some good workers who happen to also be very good rugby players”.
He also paid tribute to the team’s manager, former Scotland international Eric Peters, for providing “a good pair of hands on the on the tiller”.
King Sturge also took home the player of the tournament trophy for another year following an outstanding performance from Neil Chivers from the Leeds office.
