Major RDA instruction successfully completed

Identifying properties across the region involving King Sturge Regeneration Consultancy, Agency, Valuation, Building Consultancy and Rating teams
The Regeneration Consultancy team was appointed last December to set up a “Strategic Management Team” to work with them in order to expedite the acquisition of properties before the financial year end. This instruction was won against stiff competition from DTZ, Knight Frank and JLL.
The properties identified were across the region and the work involved the Agency, Valuation, Building Consultancy and Rating Teams.
The Regeneration Consultancy team led the process which included:
- Identification of properties – with agency colleagues
- Preparation of formal Business Plans for Board Approval
- Co-ordination of communication and management of the process – including liaison with Local Authorities, Agents, property owners etc
- Co-ordinating due-diligence
- Negotiation and valuation of the properties being acquired.
The day to day management was handled by Henry Burton and Richard Griffiths led the business planning work. Of course, we would like to acknowledge all other members of the Leeds office who were involved in delivering this successful outcome.
We remain involved with a handful of acquisitions which will be completed in the course of the coming months.
