Norman Pollock takes over reins of the King Sturge Glasgow office

Norman Pollock BSc MRICS has now taken up the post of partner in charge of the King Sturge Glasgow office, reporting to Scottish managing partner Chris Macfarlane.

Norman joined King Sturge in May 2006 and has been working in tandem with Phillip Walker who assumes an ambassadorial role until his retirement in April.  Norman has now take over the reins of the Glasgow office and be responsibility for managing the office and for developing business opportunities in the west of Scotland.

Norman (38) has held senior positions with major surveying practices in Glasgow, providing extensive advice to a broad range of clients specialising in development and investment consultancy, agency and valuation.

He said: "Joining King Sturge was a wonderful opportunity for me and I am looking forward to the challenge of managing our Glasgow operation and working alongside Chris.  We have a fantastic team of people across both offices and I aim to use my property expertise to help the business continue to develop and grow profitably in Scotland."

Chris Macfarlane added: “Norman has an excellent track record and has already produced significant business opportunities for us.  We are at a very exciting point in the development of our business in Scotland and Norman will continue to add strength and depth to our management team.”

King Sturge's business in Scotland has accelerated over the last three years, with staff numbers increasing by 25% and turnover up by 60%.  It has strengthened its position as a leading and highly respected player in the Scottish market.
