A 1,949 m² (20,979 ft²) office building at Castlebrook Business Park in Bury, owned by Standard Life Investments Pooled Property Pension Fund, has been successfully let to Northgate Information Solutions. The company, which provides specialist software, outsourcing and information technology services to the human resources, local government, education and public safety markets, has taken a 10 year lease at Warwick House.

“We are delighted to welcome Northgate-IS to Castlebrook Business Park” said Mike Hannigan, Investment Director at Standard Life Investments “Key drivers in their decision to move to Warwick House were its position close to Junction 3 of the M66, the quality of our refurbishment works and the nearby amenities for staff and visitors.”

In addition to good accessibility to the motorway network, Warwick House benefits from Bury’s extensive public transport infrastructure. Castlebrook Business Park is also adjacent to Park 66 Retail Park which includes an ASDA, Travelodge Hotel, Deep Pan Pizza, Paper Mill Public House, Chiquitos, Frankie & Benny’s, McDonalds, a Megabowl and a VUE Multiplex Cinema.

Greg Ball of King Sturge, joint agent on the scheme with Canning O’Neill, said: “The appeal of towns in North Manchester, such as Bury, has grown in recent years and the letting to Northgate is testament to this. Warwick House occupies an excellent site in a strategic part of Bury. Its connection to the motorway and public transport networks as well as the quality of refurbishment has made it a highly sought after business location.”
