15,562 m² unit has been acquired by Dee Set Logistics for £4.5 million
Investment agents at King Sturge have sold a 15,562 m² (167,513 ft²) warehouse in Stoke on Trent. The unit was occupied by Royal Doulton and sold to Dee Set Logistics Limited for £4.5 million.
James Porteous of King Sturge, who acted on behalf of Legal and General which owns the site, said: “The sale represented excellent value for both the vendor and the purchaser. It is in a strategic location close to Stoke on Trent town centre with great prominence on to Victoria Road and benefits from excellent access to the national motorway network.”
Royal Doulton has occupied the site since 1979 and has taken a leaseback on part of the building for 12 months whilst it consolidates operations at its other plant in Stone.
David Heywood of Louis Taylor LLP who advised Dee Set Logistics and Royal Doulton added: “Because of its size, the building was ideal for Dee Set to bring together its three operations under the one roof.”
