King Sturge Retail provided asset management advice to Stannifer/Sapphire Retail
Fund (Argos, Gap, Disney and The Pier Strategy), on tenant mix and improvements to
configuration following acquisition in 2001.
The immediate task is to let the various
vacant units, and this will be achieved in the first six months. The redevelopment of
the Queen Street frontage is to provide a new elevation and extended units. A
18,000-ft² anchor store on Level 1 has been pre-let to New Look, and a redundant fire
escape developed and pre-let to Giles Sports at a rent of £90,000 pa.
