Quorum provides freehold in Heywood

The former Hanson Logistics site on Moss Hall Road - 4,924 m² of industrial and distribution space in Heywood has been renamed Quest Park

Work on the comprehensive refurbishment of 4,924 m² (53,000 ft²) of industrial and distribution space in Heywood has started.

Wilmslow based Quorum Estates bought the former Hanson Logistics site on Moss Hall Road in December last year and is subdividing the buildings into 10 terraced units ranging from 232 - 2,787 m² (2,500 - 30,000 ft²). Work at the site, renamed Quest Park, is expected to complete in June with all units being available on a freehold or leasehold basis.

“These warehouses will appeal to local companies looking to expand operations or relocate to better premises”, said Daniel Burn, associate at King Sturge, joint agent with Nolan Redshaw on the scheme. “The site benefits from good access to the motorway network as well as nearby amenities and an abundant labour pool.”

Paul Cook, development surveyor at Quorum Estates, added: “The units at Quest Park provide a unique proposition for businesses to buy into the market. While there are other light industrial units available to let in the local area, there are no immediate opportunities to actually buy premises, which make this development quite special.”
