Specsavers trade from approximately 550 stores in the UK and generates a turnover in excess of £220 million per annum. They are also represented across Europe and are one of the continent’s most recognisable brands.
King Sturge are Specsavers’ preferred agent in the Yorkshire and North East region, providing acquisition and disposal advice and making use of our extensive L&T and research expertise. We have worked closely with the Store Acquisitions Team to help them hit their ambitious target of 50 new stores per year, and were the retailer’s most acquisitive agent in the year ending April 2006.
Using our extensive knowledge of the local market we are currently advising Specsavers on a programme of relocations in major Yorkshire and North East towns where new-build Shopping Centres are likely to affect the dynamics of the retail core.
