Mixed-use regeneration of the 1950’s town centre
Advice provided to Stevenage Borough Council on the preparation of a Development Brief to
select a Developer for the comprehensive mixed-use regeneration of the 1950’s town centre.
The establishment of an evaluation process to meet the Local Government Act requirements
and selection of the ‘Preferred Developer’.
The negotiation of Heads of Terms and the Development Agreement to achieve the delivery of
the original objectives set out in the Development Brief together with the provision of planning
advice and undertaking a retail capacity study.
