The Home Office has taken a lease on former NU building in Newport Road
In the biggest office letting in Cardiff City Centre this year, the Home Office has taken a lease on the former Norwich Union building at 31/33 Newport Road from developers The Bailey Group.
The building extends to approximately 33,000 ft² on 5 floors and is to be comprehensively refurbished for occupation by the Home Office early in the New Year.
The Cardiff Office acquired the building for The Bailey Group two years ago, agreed a surrender with Norwich Union subject to reverse premium and back to back letting to the Home Office on a 10 year lease.
