Window of opportunity at Teal Farm Park

King Sturge Newcastle has let a 7,000 sqft industrial unit at the newly developed Teal Farm Park in Washington. The new occupiers, Anglian Windows Ltd, have signed up to a five year lease on the unit.

Anglian Windows forms part of the Anglian Home Improvements Group, they have relocated from nearby premises as part of a move to streamline its accommodation in the area. The new depot will be their sole North East base to serve the whole region.

Phil Hacking of Anglian Windows said: "We were particularly attracted to Teal Farm Park due to its strategic location with easy access onto both the A1 and the A19 providing good access to all parts of the region. We were also impressed with the quality of the accommodation on offer and the flexible terms that were made available to us by the landlord."

Teal Farm Park forms part of the highly successful Pattinson Industrial Estate which is home to major occupiers including Nissan, Fowler Welch Coolchain and Asda. The first phase of development, which was undertaken by Hellens, consists of five new build industrial/warehouse units ranging from 3,500 sqft to 7,000sqft.

Simon Hill, Partner at King Sturge in Newcastle said, "We are delighted to have successfully let further industrial space at Teal Farm Park. The development provides high quality warehouse accommodation in an established industrial location, which is suitable for a variety of business uses. We are currently in discussions with other interested parties and the last two available units are now under offer."
