· An innovative use in the letting of 208,000 ft2 at Legal & General’s Fusion scheme to Biffa Waste Services to develop as a state-of-the art recycling plant

· A more conventional letting to Next at PPG Land’s Calver 9 refurbishment of a fully fitted distribution facility extending to 94,686 ft2 in Warrington

· A combination of consultancy and agency in a letting of 80,000 ft2 at Premier Park in Leeds to distribution company AF Blakemore & Sons on behalf of USS. Former occupier and white goods distributor, Bridisco, went into administration in December 2008. The agency team was instructed in January 2009, when King Sturge Investment Management was mandated to manage the USS industrial portfolio, although the property was not openly marketed. Our Leeds Industrial team identified AF Blakemore, an established third party logistics operator, as a potential tenant and secured the transaction.
