King Sturge has a number of contracts with public sector organisations under which they are able to provide a full range of estates services.  These contracts can be a very useful means by which public sector clients can short-cut the procurement of estates advice.

BUYING SOLUTIONS AGREEMENT

Of principle significance is our Buying Solutions Framework Agreement for Estates Professional Services. 

King Sturge scored 98% in Buying Solutions most recent satisfaction survey.

Our contract No is RM397F and a copy of our certificate is displayed below.  Our appointment followed a detailed OJEU tendering exercise in which we satisfied stringent criteria in relation to both our capabilities and our administrative processes.  Any publicly funded organisation is entitled to appoint us under this Framework Agreement and without the need for formal tendering.  The Framework Agreement covers virtually all estate services but specifically refers to the following:

• Disposals
• Rent reviews
• Lease breaks and lease expires
• Lease renewals
• Dilapidations
• Landlord and Tenant negotiations
• Rating services
• Estate strategies
• Procurement strategy
• Development consultancy
• Valuations
• Planning
• Condition surveys
• Service assurance
• Compulsory purchase
• Day lighting/sun lighting/rights of light
• Estate and property management advice

The process is in fact very simple.  We will agree with the client a brief for the work and a fee basis.  This will then effectively form a schedule to the standard form of contract and there is nothing further for the client to do.  We will register the instruction with OGC Buying Solutions and will notify them when fees have been paid.

LEARNING AND SKILLS COUNCIL FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT
King Sturge has a Framework Agreement with the Learning and Skills Council under which further education colleges can instruct King Sturge on capital projects.

CRESCENT PURCHASING CONSORTIUM
The Crescent Purchasing Consortium was established by the University of Salford and acts as a purchasing and procurement consortium for most further education colleges in England & Wales.  King Sturge is an accredited supplier for estates services covering all of the advice categories referred to under the OGC Buying Solutions Framework above.  Any further education college can therefore use the services of King Sturge under this contract without the need for formal tendering.
