Mint Velvet revolution hits the high street

King Sturge Retail has recently been appointed by womenswear brand Mint Velvet to assist in the acquisition of 1,000 ft² plus, high-quality high street units in affluent locations.

This new venture, set up by former Principles' directors and backed by ex Rubicon chief executive Peter Davies and directors Chris Inman and Richard Sims, follows the launch of the brand through 13 concessions within House of Fraser department stores and two solus store acquisitions in Windsor Royal Station and East Street Chichester, advised by King Sturge.

This appointment follows on from the good work undertaken for Irish fashion brand A|wear where Richard Sims in Chairman. Tom Keys-Toyer, Partner in the Bristol office comments, "It is great to be involved with this exciting concept which has had such a positive reaction from customers and the property sector."

Mint Velvet, aimed at women over the age of 30 years of age who are looking for 'relaxed glamour', is planning to open up to 30 stores targeting high street locations in affluent market towns and London suburbs.
