South Wales shopping centre sells for £24 M
Against a background of renewed activity in the retail investment market, King Sturge has advised Rockspring on the purchase of St Tydfil Square Shopping Centre in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales, for £24m. The sale price reflects a yield of more than 9.25%.
The 190,000 ft² shopping centre was bought by the fund manager on behalf of its Rockspring.
Hanover Property Unit Trust. The vendor was Diageo Pension Trust, advised by Savills.
Tenants at the centre include Argos, Wilkinson, Boots, Poundland, New Look and Body Shop.
