King Sturge Plant and Machinery has specialist teams skilled and experienced in the sale of industrial plant, surplus equipment and other machinery and business assets both in the UK and throughout the world.

Our teams of sales personnel dispose of industrial plant and machinery through a variety of means including sales by public auction or tender. In the case of individual items of machinery, we arrange and manage private treaty sales, where our specific negotiation skills and market knowledge can be exercised.

We utilise modern technology in all our sales: web casting, on line bidding, web sites, digitised photographs and email contacts are used to full effect.

During the 150 year history of King Sturge Plant and Machinery, we have been involved in the sale of equipment from almost every industrial sector, from the traditional areas of engineering, printing, textiles, plastics, transport and construction to more specific areas such as waste recycling equipment, vintage cars and even specialist aircraft.

We have negotiated sales of items from individual machines to entire production lines to countries as far a field as Australia, India, Pakistan, USA and Brazil. Our sales are internationally advertised and attended by purchasers from across the world.

Corporate Recovery
In some insolvency situations, circumstances may dictate that the assets of the company will have to be liquidated to cash. Our team of sales personnel dispose of industrial plant through various means, including formal on-site piecemeal auction sales.

We provide an extensive world-wide marketing service to pinpoint potential buyers via traditional and electronic technology and advise on removal of machinery, shipping and legislation issues which may affect the purchase of the assets, especially to international buyers.
