Retail valuation
The King Sturge Valuation group has outstanding experience in carrying out valuations of retail investment and portfolio valuations across the UK.
We provide annual asset valuations for a number of property companies which include a significant retail element including London and Cambridge Properties Ltd, Frogmore Investments Ltd, Lincoln national Property Fund, St Modwen plc, etc. Also, a large majority of our advice is in respect of loan security valuations on behalf of most High Street and Investment banks and building societies including Barclays, Citibank, Halifax, Lloyds TSB, HSBC, RBS, Bristol & West, Northern Rock, and a number of German banks.
The group currently comprises some 80 valuers across the UK in 15 offices with some 30 Partners. The strength of our service lies within the range of skills we offer, together with our comprehensive local market knowledge, combined with our national investment perspective. Our regional office network is the key to the quality of the valuation service, enabling us to draw on first hand knowledge of our extensive national property marketing and acquisition activities.
Our recent involvement includes advice in respect of the acquisition of various shopping centres, e.g. Merry Hill; Martineau Place, Birmingham; Headrow, Leeds; Paisley; Barnstaple; Doncaster; Edmonton, London, etc.
In addition, we also advise on retail portfolios as well as single let retail investments on a nationwide basis. We have recently provided loan security advice on an acquisition of a portfolio of retail units let to HSBC Bank, with a value of some £70 million, and also provided valuation advice in respect of town centre redevelopments such as Farnborough (for St Modwen).
